Welcome to CRAFT -- a new two-day pop-up event concept presented by Chick Events and Recommended Daily -- that marries handmade and vintage goods with curated local sips and bites and homegrown local bands. CRAFT runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 3, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 4.

On the first level of Crown Center Plaza, you'll be able to see jewelry, paper goods, clothing, home goods, accessories for two and four-legged folks, and lots of other handcrafted goods, from more than 85 local handcrafted and vintage vendors. When you get hungry or thirsty, you can walk into the center where food trucks and food artisans like Shatto Milk and the Local Pig will be waiting alongside cold Boulevard beer and wine from Amigoni Urban Winery.

As you dive further into CRAFT, you can visit our Cookies and Beer Garden on the second level to learn about how to pair cookies and beer. You can also avail yourself of a whiskey seminar and tasting from Dark Horse Distillery or a wine seminar and tasting from Amigoni. Next, you’ll find yourself in the Artisan Food Pavilion, where you can get something to snack or take home for breakfast (we’re talking cinnamon rolls and coffeecake, people), lunch, or dinner. And it’s there that you’ll hear a slate of homegrown acts handpicked by The Record Machine, a Kansas City record label, on our stage.
