Spin! Pizza set to open a Northland outpost

[Update: Due to construction delays, Spin! Pizza won’t open until Tuesday, December 29.] It’s starting to look like Kansas Citians will never be that far from a Spin! Pizza. The local Neapolitan pizza chain will open its 10th area location in the Northland on Saturday, December 26, at 4 p.m. [Tuesday, December 29, at 11 a.m.] The newest pizza shop is at 6100 NW 63rd Terrace in The Village at Burlington Creek development.

For those who haven’t been, Spin! offers thin crust pizza (try the prosciutto, spinach and fig marmalade pie), salads (opt for the 8 color), flatbreads, stuffed meatballs, soups, sandwiches, gelato and cookies (from the Upper Crust Pie Bakery). They’ll have 12 barrel wines and 16 beers on tap, along with a trio of house sangria. Spin! ticks a lot of boxes. It’s kid-friendly, they have gluten-free pizza and dairy-free cheese, and the Northland location will have a 30-seat patio.

To celebrate the opening, Spin! is offering a free Mini Mia pizza and salad to the first 64 people in the door on December 26. The Burlington Creek location will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The phone number is 816-741-7746.
