One More Cup celebrates its fifth anniversary next week

one-more-cup-5th-anniverary-021314One More Cup (7408 Wornall Road) wants to celebrate for a cause. Next week, marks the Waldo coffee shop’s fifth anniversary. Owners Stacy and Jeremy Neff have put together a week of specials and are holding a raffle to benefit Delete Blood Cancer. They’ve also redecorated the walls, posting photos and memorabilia on the walls about the shop’s history.

These cookies are good any day.

On Monday, February 17, drip coffees are priced like rental car specials — get the larger size for the price below it, i.e. drive off with a shiny 16 oz. cup of coffee for the cost of a 12 oz. brew. Espresso shots are $1 on Tuesday. Hope for sunshine on Wednesday as toddy (cold-pressed) coffee is 75 cents off.

Hot teas of any size are $1.50 on Thursday and you can get 50 cents off a specialty drink (get the Curious George made with espresso, Shatto chocolate milk and Shatto banana milk) on Friday.

The celebration ends on Saturday with a free chocolate chip cookie with any drink purchase. They’ll also be taking names for the bone marrow donor registry from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Raffle tickets ($2) will be on sale all week with prizes from Mean Vegan, One More Cup, Little Freshie, Benetti’s, The Roasterie, PT’s Coffee, and Hugo Tea. The drawing will be held Saturday, as well.
