Knife & Pork — a Kansas City craft butchery festival thrown by The Recommended Daily and Local Pig — was held Saturday, September 27, in the East Bottom’s Heim Park. There were butchery demonstrations on two stages, pork dishes from Kansas City chefs, a whole pig roast and plenty of beer from the Tallgrass Brewing Company and Free State Brewing Company. We wanted to give you a taste of the first year of our festival.
