Sporting Kansas City raised the MLS Cup last December. You can start raising yours tomorrow with the Boulevard Brewing Company’s Sporting Championship Ale. That’s when the “crisp, refreshing,” Saison-style ale, created in honor of the hometown squad’s victory, begins appearing on shelves.
Boulevard used Mandarina Bavaria, a German hop with “distinct tangerine and citrus flavors,” for the brew. This is a one-off Smokestack Series release that will only be available in the Kansas City area. Boulevard plans to distribute approximately 2,000 cases of the 750ml bottles.
